After she graduated from the University of Pretoria , South Africa, in 1985,Laetitia studied and worked with some of the top decorative artists in the world – Nicila Virgini (Italy), Pierre Finkelstein (USA), Pasqual Amblard (France) and Shaun Cosby (USA)
Complimenting her curriculum of paint techniques, she also teaches the essential balancing of the five project currencies - time, money, knowledge, sound advice and aesthetic appeal in her training and coaching videos. She skilfully convey her array of talents, skills, abilities and technical expertise to the students with exceptional attention to detail.
Her clients range from corporate companies, retail stores, hotel groups, embassies, architects and property developers to interior designers and homeowners. Her brilliant brush strokes transform instantly. Measured against her strict standards, she shapes colour and light into exquisite spaces by applying her unique painting techniques.
The Laetitia Viljoen signature is seen in South African Five Star Hotels (Sandton Michelangelo Towers, Palace at the Lost City), Villas, Corporate Properties and Embassies. Her most majestic work, a mega size oil-on gilding canvas, is exhibited in the Blue Lizzard Art Gallery in Perth Australia.
