One-to-one lessons can be either intensive or additional to group lessons. These lessons are ideal for focusing on English for Specific Purposes (for example Legal English or Medical English) or on English for Academic Purposes, where teachers are able to design their lessons according to students’ specific needs.
Private tuition is also beneficial for further work on language (grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation) and/or skills practice (reading, writing, listening and speaking).
International House Cape Town is an English language school bases in Sea Point, Cape Town. We teach English as a foreign language to students from all over the world.
Our courses vary from our General English courses like Standard and Intensive English to Business English, exam preparation and private lessons. We also offer more specialised courses that focus on specific work fields (Aviation, Engineering for Oil and Gas, Healthcare and Nursing, Real Estate, Secretaris and Administration).
Ih Cape Town is a CELTA training centre and we run these Cambridge certified teacher training courses a few times a year.
The school is in a nice and trandy neighbouhood in Cape Town called Sea Point. The Atlantic Ocean is only 50 min away and can be seen from our beautiful rooftop terrace and chillax area. Shops, restaurants and cafes are all in walking distance to the school and all major attractions in Cape Town are easily accesible.
The atmosphere in school is very comfortable and relaxed, social activities are offered daily and other tours and trips can be booked with us to explore Cape Town and South Africa more during your stay in South Africa.
