Purpose: This course provides an overview of the full Data Warehouse lifecycle – front-end, back-end and it includes concepts such as Data Governance, Data Lakes, Traditional DW, Big Data, Cloud and more.
The full lifecycle of a Business Intelligence / Data Warehouse project is covered and after completing this comprehensive course Practitioners will be armed with sufficient knowledge to guide them through the process of designing Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing solutions.
Approximately one and a half days are allocated to Dimensional Modeling.
Guidelines are provided on how to complement and extend the lifespan of existing Data Warehouses by positioning the role of Data Lakes and other modern concepts.
This is a technology independent course that teaches sound principles, to be applied
no matter what technology is used. Technologies and role players in the BI space are mentioned where applicable. The main focus is to convey concepts and strategies for efficient design and modeling of a framework for implementation, using
