The Chartered Institute of Tourism and Hospitality (CTH) is one of the UK’s leading professional membership and awarding bodies for tourism and hospitality qualifications. Its mission is to develop and add value to careers in the tourism and hospitality industry all around the world. The CTH is endorsed by important industry figures and brands, including Tsogo Sun, Radisson Edwardian and Thistle hotels, the Dhaka Sheraton and many more.
The Chartered Institute of Tourism and Hospitality (ITH) is the Southern African cousin of the Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality (CTH) in the United Kingdom, established in 1982. The ITH is the CTH’s representative in southern Africa. In this role, the ITH accredits training providers and supports them in rolling out the CTH’s UK-registered qualifications. The ITH also handles student and assessment registration on the behalf of the CTH.
